New Gym Project Timeline

We are delighted to announce that our gym at South Devon College is due to undergo renovation work in Spring 2022. We are very appreciative of the collaborative efforts from all involved in this exciting initiative, the new gym will help further ensure the delivery of the highest-level fitness education and wider training across our range of academic activities.

As well as also providing a huge opportunity for the College to inspire students, staff and the public of all ages and backgrounds to engage in fitness, wellbeing and physical activities.

‘This is a fantastic addition to the ever-growing project here at South Devon College, having come from originally studying here as a student almost a decade ago to working within the College. It is great to see that it continues to go strength to strength and sport, fitness and wellbeing is a big part of that. With this new top industry standard equipment, we will be able to offer students, staff and our members the most cutting-edge teaching and fitness training available.’

‘We are delighted to be working with 3D Leisure on this project. Our partnership has been crucial in getting this over the line, and their support and communication throughout the process has been excellent. The new refurbishment will benefit members of South Devon College Sports and Fitness club along with staff and students of the college. The larger strength and conditioning area will also us to run a wider variety of adult fitness courses, and also increase the commercial opportunities for local sports teams to hire out for group sessions.’
