Class Descriptions:
Badminton
A weekly court is available adjacent to the gym in our Sports Hall. Bring a friend or family member for free. Equipment provided.
Body Blast
A feel-good form of body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training, high-intensity aerobics, and exercises performed in a circuit. It targets strength building, toning and muscular endurance.
Couch to 5K
The ‘Couch to 5K’ is generally designed for people who have done little or no running. The class builds up each week, with our 10-week programme to get you ready to walk, jog or run 5K in week 10. Everyone who attends will be given a weekly plan, therefore if you can’t make one week you can still complete it in your own time. Starts 25th January and we complete our 5K on Saturday 30th March at 9:30am @ Paignton Green.
Dance Yourself Fit
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility and boosted energy.
Pump Up – Spin
Indoor cycling, studio cycling or ‘spinning’ is a high-intensity exercise on a stationary bike. It combines cardio and endurance in a 45-minute calorie-crunching session! Not only is it great for giving you all the cardiovascular gains, but it’s great for toning muscles.
Yoga
During our yoga class you will learn to breathe, focus, move, stretch and balance. How to move with your breath while building strength and working on your core.
